Today we took a tour of the John Dalton West building, which is to be the new home of the msa (which means landscape architecture too). It's a great building, and the refurbishment is nearly complete. There are lots of exciting spaces and its past as a forensics lab has not been entirely eradicated, I can't wait to see what new experiments we can come up with.

There will be a student competition to design some graphics for the outside of the building coming very soon...

Exhibition - Dan Charnley (12/09/11)

My exhibition piece breaks down the process from analysing the site through the 'Spatial Processes' through to design resolutions. Each 'Spatial Process' is symbolised by a colour and is integrated throughout the exhibition.

The model is a 1:100 representation of my design, combining all elements of the Personal Proposition, with the particular emphasis on 'Perforation' and 'Dissection'
